A jacket or other keepsake will be given in memory of the Heidbreder's to a few outstanding Bottineau County Fair participants, volunteers, or board members during the 4-H Premium Sale.

Past Winners:

This scholarship is in memory of Matt Blomberg. It was established by the Bottineau County Fair Board.  The recipient will receive $200 to help defray expenses while competing at the North Dakota State Fair.

Recipient, who does not necessarily have to be a 1st place exhibitor, must:

- Achieve Blue Ribbon Status to qualify for State Fair (4H rule).
- Show respect to adults and other contestants while on the fairgrounds.
- Demonstrate willingness to help younger contestants.
- Exhibit a high quality of showmanship.
- Must show livestock at the North Dakota State Fair.

The recipient will be chosen by a committee designated by the Bottineau County Fair Board.  Scholarship funds will be disbursed to the recipient upon his or her return from the State Fair.
